This is the greatest invention for pasta lovers! My husband always complains if I break the pasta to cook it. This is the perfect answer! Just drop the pasta straight from the package into the boiling water and VOILA!!!!

Pasta seems to cook faster laying down than standing up. Plus, long pasta doesn't seem to break during cooking.

My daughter did like the Pasta Pot, however, she thought for the money it should have been more versatile, ie. able to bake with it in the oven. She has a family of 5. Would she purchase it again probably not! Purchased at Amazon.

Originally, I saw this pot on Rachel Ray's show in the morning--and thought, what a great idea--no more breaking pasta or pushing it in at an angle. When it went on sale, I had to have it!
I love this pot..it's sturdy. It's bigger than a typical dutch oven so it's also great for a big pot of soup, or spaghetti..but I love love love that pasta fits in it. It's so easy and convenient.
The non-stick coating is a bonus. The handles are great since they don't get hot. The glass lid lets you watch what's cooking. There's just no downside to this pot, it's fabulous.
